Before you take your drone out for flying, it important you note that not all areas are legal to fly in. The FAA has restricted certain areas including national parks, stadiums, airports and soon national monuments such as the statue of liberty will follow. If you are in Washington, you should avoid flying over the capitol and the entire greater D.C. area in general.
