Art: If art is of particular interest, why not pay a visit to the Santa Eulalia Barro Museum. This man became one of the island’s most respected artists after he moved there at the age of 47 in 1910. The museum contains some 200 of his most revered works and when he died just three years short of his 100th birthday in 1954, he was interred at Santa Eulalia Cemetery.
Boating: As you would expect of a resort that boasts a beautiful promenade and well kept beach, Santa Eulalia also offers activities for those who like a slightly more exhilarating experience and may feel like chartering a boat. A number of companies operating in the area offer the holidaymaker the chance to experience views of the island by sea. There are different types of excursions depending on level of ability and even a chance to dabble in water sports if that’s a particular passion.

Shopping: Santa Eulalia offers a wealth of shopping opportunities to satisfy even the hardest to please bargain hunter. Craft Market: A leisurely stroll round the local craft market situated at San Jamie is a wonderful way to spend a few hours. You can browse round the beautiful artwork or perhaps have an instant portrait painted by one of the artists there before walking through the street and back through to the promenade again.
Fine dining: This is a place that offers a true experience of what it’s like to live and dine out in a Mediterranean town. During the day, the main street of Calle San Jamie is the place where everyone goes to meet for coffee or a light lunch. It’s a perfect spot to relax and watch everyday life being lived. In the evening, the street is closed off to traffic and it turns into a boulevard of delights with delicious local food cooked and served from the various eateries, with street entertainment and musicians to delight and charm.
