Morocco’s Majestic Journey: A 3-Day Adventure from Marrakech to Fes

Planning a trip 3 days from Marrakech to Fes is an amazing way to see the beauty of Morocco. This 3-day adventure takes you through stunning places and lets you experience the best of Moroccan culture. Here’s a simple guide to make your journey unforgettable.

Day 1: From Marrakech to Dades Gorges

**Morning: Start from Marrakech**

Kick off your adventure in the morning from Marrakech. You’ll drive through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the cool air and pretty views of small villages along the way.

**Afternoon: Stop at Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate**

Your first big stop is Ait Benhaddou, a famous old village made of clay that you might have seen in movies. It’s like stepping back in time. Then, head to Ouarzazate, known as the door to the desert, where you can see a big movie studio and a beautiful old house called Taourirt Kasbah.

**Evening: Reach Dades Gorges**

End your day at Dades Gorges. This place has amazing rock formations and a peaceful vibe. Stay overnight in a cozy hotel or guesthouse and enjoy a Moroccan dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga Desert

**Morning: Explore Dades Valley**

After breakfast, take a short drive to see more of Dades Valley. The place is known for its cool rock shapes and a pretty river.

**Midday: Visit Todra Gorge**

Next, go to Todra Gorge, a huge canyon with tall rock walls. It’s a great spot for photos. Have lunch with a view of the gorge.

**Afternoon: Head to Merzouga**

In the afternoon, you’ll drive to Merzouga, where the big sand dunes start. The desert here is breathtaking.

**Evening: Desert Night**

Arrive in Merzouga and ride camels to a desert camp. Watch a beautiful sunset, have dinner, and enjoy music and stories around a fire under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga to Fes

**Morning: Sunrise and Departure**

Get up early to see a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, it’s time to leave the desert and go to Fes.

**Midday: Through Ziz Valley**

Drive through Ziz Valley, famous for its palm trees and green oasis. Stop for lunch in a town called Midelt, between mountains.

**Afternoon: Quick Stop in Ifrane**

Before reaching Fes, stop in Ifrane, a small town that looks a bit like a place in Switzerland, with its cool weather and green parks.

**Evening: Arrive in Fes**

You’ll get to Fes in the evening. This city is full of history, with a busy old town, beautiful buildings, and lots of shops. This end of our 3 days from Marrakech to Fes.
