Why stay in an adults only hotel

  • May 24, 2023

Holidays are all about relaxation, taking time out from your busy life to unwind, enjoy some peace and quiet, good food and entertainment. When you have a young family, staying in a kid-friendly hotel works perfectly, with lots of activities and other children to keep them busy and distracted. If you don’t have children with you, however, why not stay at properties designed for the over 18’s, where you can relax and enjoy the ambience of a hotel catering for grown-up tastes.

Perhaps you are after a romantic break with your partner, or a celebratory holiday with a group of friends. Hotels catering for adults offer a huge range of activities including water skiing, windsurfing and, for those with a real spirit of exploration, diving in the clear seas.

The easiest way to explain the benefits of an adult-only hotel is to look at an example of such a property. The Invisa Hotel Es Pla is beautifully situated in San Antonio in Ibiza. Located near the beach, it also boasts two large outdoor pools. One of these offers a lively atmosphere, with music and entertainment, including water games. The second is a place of calm for those who want to relax in the warm Mediterranean climate, enjoying a quiet drink and chat ( or a quick siesta on a sun lounger – remember to put plenty of sunscreen on before dozing off..). Every room also has its own terrace or balcony, so if you really want to get away from everybody, you have this option as well.

As well as offering a multitude of water sports, the hotel also boasts a well-fitted gym, tennis, table tennis, snooker and pétanque. There is even a basketball court to go shoot some hoops with your friends. When tired, you can retreat to the bar for a well deserved beer or gin and tonic (make sure you’ve kept hydrated first when doing your activities, that sun can be hot out there!).

Meals are a crucial part of any holiday, enjoying lovely food that has been prepared for you by professional chefs. At the Invisa Hotel Es Pla there is a choice of both Mediterranean and International cuisine – something for all tastes. If you book on the half-board plus plan you even get your wine, beers and water included in the price, a great way to enjoy your time without the worry of a large additional bill to pay at checkout.

Let’s be honest, there are few places better than Ibiza for holiday partying, and that can be accessed from the hotel without the need for babysitters. During the days you can explore small coves and different beaches, as well as visiting some of the cultural highlights that the island has to offer.

Sometimes, at various stages of life,  you just want some guaranteed peace and staying at an adult only hotel is one way to ensure you get this. No shouting around the pool, no splashing as the kids jump in and out of the water, no running around the restaurant. We love kids, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you want the world to revolve around you, not them, and a relaxing holiday can be one of those times. Every room also has its own terrace or balcony, so if you really want to get away from everybody, you have this option as well.

Indulge in the ultimate adults-only retreat in Ibiza haven, where tranquillity and vibrant nightlife converge to create an unforgettable experience. Book your escape today and embrace the essence of Ibiza’s electrifying spirit, where people can truly let loose and create memories that will last a lifetime. Enjoy paradise in the heart of the Mediterranean.
