You might think you need to jet off to the Bahamas, the Maldives or an island in French Polynesia to enjoy exquisite coastlines and warm, sandy beaches. However, you may be surprised to learn that the U.S. is home to a selection of beautiful beaches that will allow you to soak up the sun and frolic in the sea without having to travel to foreign shores. Everyone loves a beach holiday and in this article we’ve provided a list of some of the great beaches you and your family can visit in the U.S.

From the red sands and hidden coves of Kaihalulu Beach to the black sands and lava cliffs of Honokalani Beach, discover an array of different coastlines, colors, and abundant natural sea life that inhabits this magical island.
