Remarkable places to visit on Amalfi coast, Italy

  • April 30, 2021
  • Jules

Italy has always been regarded as the home for many authentic wonders. From rivers that give a breezy environment to the quaint towns that run through to mountainous strips and present a magnificent view, it houses all you can think of. One of these serene landscapes is the Amalfi coast. A stretch of coastline following the Sorrentine Peninsula, the Amalfi coast has changed over the years to accommodate different communities, but the plethora of landmarks remain.

The perfect holiday destination:

It’s no doubt that the Amalfi coast offers a beautiful holiday. It provides a peaceful getaway with picturesque locations to soothe your eyes and lively culture to keep you engaged. There are beautiful Amalfi coast villas for rent that will serve as a fantastic residence. In terms of landscapes, here are some remarkable places you should add to your must-visit list.

Positano:

First up on the list is Positano. The town follows a steep topography where stairs line every road, bringing you iridescent views from all sides. As you climb up among the pastel-coloured buildings, you’ll be compelled to stop and stare at a dainty boutique or a traditional cafe. You can rest by the rosy-coloured beach and watch the sunset cast a gorgeous glow all over.

Ravello:

More commonly regarded as the town of festivities and lush gardens, Ravello has served as a vacation home to many famous names. During the summer, the Annual Ravello Music Festival attracts a crowd from all over to enjoy the charming tunes with a lively environment. The Terrace of Infinity offers a magnificent view to compliment the green hues of the town.

Minori

If you’re visiting Italy, you’re probably wondering where the pasta is. The answer to your queries is the town of Minori. Also regarded as the “City of Flavour,” Minori is famous for the scrumptious pasta that was once produced in factories there. Now it is home to many cafes and patisseries that will leave your mouth watering. If you’re headed to Minori, make sure you have plenty of time to make your way through the small joints and an empty stomach to devour all the delicacies.

Cetara:

Once you think you’ve had enough pasta to last you for days, it’s time to switch up the cuisine. Head over to Cetara for an Italian take on seafood. Though small in size, Cetara is a fishing village that attracts a large number of tourists. The traditional fish and flavorful combination anchovy combinations are something you simply can’t leave without trying.

Furore:

Now that you’ve mingled with the bustling crowds and the ever-restless food scene of the Amalfi coast, it’s the ideal time to head over to Furore for a calm evening. Furore also gives way to a narrow gorge that is nothing short of a natural miracle. You’ll find yourself amidst colourful art displays and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean sea.

A scenic escape:

With the Amalfi coast, you’ll have a pleasant escape from your conventional routine. Book your flight today and prepare for the journey of a lifetime.
