  • Ta’meya/ Falafel:

Call it Falafel or Ta’meya, its traditional mouth-watering dish of the Middle East. You will love to eat it in the morning along with eggs, pita bread, and cheese. Every Middle Eastern country has its version of Ta’meya typically, its main item is chickpeas, but Egyptian makes it with Fava beans.

It is made with lots of consideration; you will feel the taste of fava beans with parsley, onion, garlic, and cilantro, and after frying, they are rolled in sesame seeds. It is served with pita bread along with cucumber and tomato.

  • Breakfast with Ful Mudammas:

Looking for something classic in breakfast, try Ful Mudammas – legends say it is as old as Pharaohs and of course a tempting street breakfast, but you can have it any time of the day too. 

The main ingredient of this dish is also a fava bean. Fava bean, along with hard-boiled eggs and pita bread, makes it perfect for all. For the dressing, olive oil, salt, pepper flakes, garlic, lemon, and ground cumin is used. It is one of the colorful breakfast dishes that promise health and taste all along.

  • Koshari:

Koshari also dates back to centuries, and due to its popularity, it is also called one of Egypt’s national dishes. Looking for something delicious, colorful, and carbohydrates then Koshari will become your new food love. 

It has layers of macaroni, rice, lentils, and chickpeas with garnishing of caramelized onions, thick red sauce, and garlic, chili, and vinegar.

  • Kofta and Kebab:
