  • November 17, 2020

When it comes to water sports, the U.S. can be considered a go-to place for its multitude of offerings. Water lovers can choose from a wide variety of water types; from oceans to rivers and lakes, there are plenty of things that you can enjoy. Here are some of those that you can explore for your next trip:

  1. Lake Tahoe

If you are visiting California on one of your trips, make sure to head to Lake Tahoe. It has gorgeous waters, and there are numerous hidden places that are best discovered by kayaking. You can head to the coastline or explore islands in the middle of the lake. Its crystal clear waters will make you feel as if you are floating on air. Go during the sunset so you can see its real beauty and the natural landscapes reflecting on the lake.

  1. Miami

Located in Southeastern Florida, Miami’s coastline is perfect for jet skiing. Its beautiful waters are the main reason Miami remains one of the most sought-after winter home locations for celebrities. Not only can visitors enjoy jet skiing, but they can also enjoy several other water activities, such as boating and wakeboarding. It is no longer surprising to see people enjoying their wakeboard towers from Aerial Wakeboarding to enjoy their vacation. In fact people enjoy their trip to Florida so much they often end up scouting new home locations.

  1. Key West, Florida

Key West, Florida, is also a popular destination for water lovers. Its crystal clear waters are perfect for enjoying some snorkeling activities. Prepare your snorkel, and you’d be surprised to see that Key West has some of the most colorful corals. Plus, if you go on a snorkel tour, your guide can even take you to see some of the interesting wreckages underneath.

  1. Hawaii`

Another U.S. state that has the most amazing waters for snorkeling is Hawaii. Don’t let its calm waters deceive you; underneath it all are some of the most stunning living organisms you will see in your life. Prepare to see some of the most colorful corals, schools of fish, and sea turtles. If you are lucky enough, you may even spot an octopus. For travelers on a budget who can’t afford a snorkeling tour, you can go on your own and explore the beautiful waters of Hawaii.

  1. San Francisco

If you happen to find yourself at the Golden Gate Bridge of California, why not give sailing a try? It is the best way for you to really appreciate the quality of the bridge. Sail down the coast and be astonished by the beautiful sunset of the city.

  1. Lake Powell

If you want to enjoy some water skiing adventure, you have to visit Lake Powell. The lake comes with tons of stunning geologic formations, making it among the scenic venues for some water activities.

  1. Grand Canyon

If you are daring when it comes to your water activities, try rafting at the Grand Canyon. Getting to the heart of the Colorado River is best done during early summer when monsoon rains are highly unlikely to occur. This way, you can enjoy the waters during your vacation.

  1. San Diego Bay

Exploring the waters of California can also be done via powerboating. It will be among the most memorable water activities you will ever experience in your life. If chartering a boat is beyond your budget, renting out a powerboat can give you the same exhilarating experience.

Exploring the many natural wonders of the U.S. should be on your bucket list. These places will give you an unforgettable time on the water. Explore the water and enjoy every minute of it.
