Costa Rica Beach Hotels: Tips to Choosing The Perfect One For You

  • March 26, 2019
  • admin

Traveling in Costa Rica can do wonders for your body and soul. A change in scenery can recharge your mind, allowing you to become more productive once you return to your daily routine. Traveling can also become an excellent avenue for you to meet new people and immerse in new cultures. Over time, the things you’ll see and experience in this country can improve your outlook in life. However, traveling can also become stressful, especially when you don’t know how to find a beach hotel. Instead of enjoying your trip, you’ll end up worried thinking about where are you going to stay for the night and how you’re going to keep your valuables secured.

There are a lot of Costa Rica beach resorts today. Regardless of where you’re planning to tour the country, you’ll be able to find a decent hotel nearby. But if you want to make the most out of your trip in this country, keep in mind the tips listed in this article. These will help you choose the perfect Costa Rica beach hotel for you.

1.    Set your priorities.

Since there are many things to consider when choosing a beach hotel, it’s crucial that you know what your priorities are. Are you keener on the location of the beach hotel or the budget? Are you looking for a beach hotel which has nearby convenience stores, shopping centers, and restaurants? Or are you looking for a beach hotel which is accessible to public transportation? Before looking for beach resorts, make sure that you’ve already set your priorities. Doing this makes it easy for you to look for options and determine which among these suit your wants and needs.

 2.    Think about the location.

More often than not, you already have a list of attractions you want to visit in Costa Rica. You might want to see the Manuel Antonio National Park, Monteverde, and the Cloud Forests or the Mal Pais and Santa Teresa. Your itinerary for the trip should be considered when choosing a beach hotel in Costa Rica, as well. As much as possible, the accommodation you choose should be convenient to the places you want to visit. Choosing a cheap beach hotel but far from your preferred travel locations can only lead to more expenses, stress, and inconvenience.

 3.    Determine your preferred type of lodging.

As mentioned, you’ll be able to find a handful of beach hotels in Costa Rica. While some of these are simple beach houses which use bells to accommodate customers, others are full-service hotels that offer five-star accommodations. Before choosing where to stay, decide what type of lodging you would want to experience. This is a personal preference but your budget, the number of people traveling with you, and length of stay should be considered before deciding.

 4.    Get referrals and online reviews.

One of the last things you want to experience in your upcoming trip to Costa Rica is staying in a beach hotel that doesn’t meet your expectations—or worse, staying in a beach hotel that looks nothing like the images you saw online. Today, more and more businesses are going overboard with their marketing campaigns just to attract customers. If you don’t want to fall victim to any of these, take time to ask for referrals from friends and family. If they have been to Costa Rica, they can provide referrals of the beach hotels you should stay in. If none of them have visited the country, opt to look for online reviews. The World Wide Web can be a goldmine of information about the beach resort you’re eyeing to choose.

 5.    Come up with a budget.

When you’re traveling, you have a limited budget. You have to be careful about your expenses because you wouldn’t want to experience being cashless in a foreign country. Aside from setting aside money for your itinerary, come up with an appropriate budget for your accommodation. If you want a simple beach house, expect that you’ll pay cheap for your accommodation. But if you’re eyeing to stay in a five-star beach hotel in Costa Rica, you might need to spend a little more. Stick to a budget when choosing a beach hotel as this can help narrow down your search.

 Create The Best Experience

You want your upcoming trip to Costa Rica to become memorable for all the right reasons. You want to tell your friends and family how you’ve enjoyed in the country, not how stressed you were in finding a beach hotel. To make sure that you do experience the former, use this article as your guide. These simple tips can go a long way for you to experience Costa Rica in the best way possible!
