Things to Do in Beautiful Pennsylvania

Everyone would like to explore the beautiful places in the world. If that is the case with you, you need to take a tour to Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is a north-east state of United States. As well, Pennsylvania is one of the 13 original colonies. Pennsylvania offers mountains, national forest, diverse terrains and stretches farm land. There a lot of places to visit in the Pennsylvania including the historic Amish town of Intercourse, PA. Now, we are going to discuss about the places that you should visit in the Pennsylvania.

  1. Philadelphia

This is known as the “cradle of the nation” and this city lies between the Boston and Washington DC. You can visit the places such as University of Pennsylvania, Delaware River, theatres, Temple University, Philadelphia Orchestra, historical sites, Drexel University and more.

  1. Lancaster

You can enjoy farms and rolling hills in this main metropolitan city of Pennsylvania. This city is as well known as the farmers’ market. You can see the museums and other attractions that you can find around the city and state capitol. The best tourist attraction is the Amish farms and there you can see the working farm and other lavishness of the ambiance.

  1. Bethlehem

The town of Bethlehem was originated by the Moravian Brethren from Germany. This town is famous for traditional celebrations and architectures. You can get to know about the Bach festival and Christmas festival celebrations in Bethlehem.

  1. Pittsburgh

It is the corporate headquarters of most American’s companies. This city has converted into the most preferable and livable cities of Pennsylvania. It is the dominant city of the southwest Pennsylvania. You can visit Point State Park, Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museums and Falling water.

  1. Harrisburg

This is such a beautiful and astounding city of Pennsylvania, which is located on the banks of the river Susquehanna. You can take a look at the lush hills, old buildings, wide streets lends, City Island and National Civil War Museum.

  1. Hershey

With just hearing the name, the tasty and delicious chocolates come to your mind – right? Yes, the Hershey chocolate company was established in the year 1903. Now, most people would like to visit the Hershey’s Chocolate Company and this is reckoned as the main attractions of Hershey. Besides the chocolate company, you can visit Hershey Park amusement, Hershey Gardens and Indian Echo Caverns.

  1. Jim Thorpe

It is located at the foot of the Pocono Mountains. This city has a conventional rich history right from the coal mining era to industrial revolution and now it has reinvented as a tourist attractions. You can do biking, rafting, hiking and other adventurous activities.

Your tour to Pennsylvania does not make any sense if you do not visit the gorgeous historic Amish town of Intercourse, PA.
