Must-See Family Entertainment At Walt Disney World In Orlando

  • Jules

All kids (both young and old) dream of visiting the wonderland that is Disney World in Orlando, Florida. And you’re not alone: collectively 50 million people explored the vast park last year alone! Now is the time to visit the popular tourist attraction on earth and find out for yourself what all the fuss is about;

Visit The Epcot Character Spot For In-Person Greetings With Mickey And Friends

Follow the signs pointing to Innovation West, which includes the Epcot Character Spot, the ideal area to personally greet the beloved Disney gang! Get hugs, photos and autographs while you enjoy interacting with Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and the rest of the famous Disney dynasty. After spending all the time you want with the Disney bunch, enjoy the other incredible exhibits in the Epcot Centre. The Character spot is located in Future World and is suitable for pre-schoolers and kids of all ages.

High-Five Sheriff Woody And Jessie From Toy Story Next To Splash Mountain

Kids and grownups alike are keen on these two characters from the fantastic Toy Story Adventures. Stick around and have a look at the train engine, and you might hear cowgirl Jessie let out a yodel or two! This is a magnificent photo opportunity and occasion to hug your favourite movie stars from the unforgettable Toy Story movie series. Look for Woody and Jessie between Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. Located in Frontierland, this is a popular park experience and we would recommend pre-purchasing your Disney Orlando Tickets to avoid queuing, or worse still, not getting in at all!

Say Hello To Mickey Mouse At Town Square Theatre

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like backstage at a theatre, now is your chance to let Mickey show you his dressing room and props and watch as he rehearses for an upcoming show. Additionally, this lavish Victorian-period theatre proudly displays some of Disney’s special enchanted art, which are framed pictures that come to life as people approach. Another photo-op ensues with Mickey before the guests exit through a themed gift shop. Located along Main Street, U.S.A.

Become A Pirate At The Captain Jack Sparrow School For Pirates

Watch, or get in on the act, Matey, as Mack the Pirate teaches a class of children how to sword fight. Beware — this is true scallywag living, but you’ll learn from the nicest pirates around. Before it’s over, you can take the pirate’s oath and receive your membership scroll — a souvenir worth its weight in jewels! This experience is great for all ages; the show runs for 25 minutes each performance and is located in Adventureland.

Chat With Rafiki Of The Lion King Fame

Don’t miss this relaxing train-ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where kids can talk to Rafiki at Planet Watch. Visit a petting zoo, rain forest exhibit and many hands-on displays that teach children about our planet. You’ll visit a real-life conservation station and veterinary zone for the park’s animals. Listen to wildlife experts talk about the injured animals they’re caring for, and glimpse the newest babies on the block. Located at Rafiki’s Planet Watch

Come And Join The Street Party In The Magic Kingdom Park

Dance along with your favourite Disney and Pixar characters, as they teach you the new beat in the street. Lots of music and celebrating make this a shindig you won’t forget. You might spot Chip and Dale, Cruella deVille, or any one of the Disney family shaking their booty along Main Street, U.S.A. Festively dressed performers teach easy dance steps to the crowd, so that everyone gets in on the action. Watch for the gigantic gift boxes, which open to reveal special surprises, right in front of Cinderella’s castle. The Street Party is based outdoors, so prepare yourself for possible inclement weather.
