The United States of America is a vast country with over 3.9 million miles of roads that offer amazing road trip opportunities to travellers from across the world. So hire your dream roadtrip vehicle (mine’s a red convertible with an awesome soundsystem) and hit the road! Dark sunglasses and a great soundtrack are obligatory; think music with attitude!
Monterey to Morro Bay is widely considered to be one of the finest road journeys in the USA. The state route 1 along central coast of California provides 125 glorious miles for your automobile to eat up. Along the way, you can cherish some unbelievable landscapes and allow the blustery Pacific Ocean winds to encourage you on. You have to stop at Big Sur and San Simeon to salute the beauty of Santa Lucia Range and the Hearst Castle’s architectural wonders.
Florida provides another chance to explore some attention-grabbing oceanic views. The trip begins from Key Largo, which is in the south of Miami and ends at Key West. Most of the times drivers find themselves on a bridge, or a flyover and obviously the sights of sea are always accompanied with them. The Overseas Highway in Florida is a lovely place to be, especially from spring to the start of summer, when there are fewer people and less traffic. Try to reach at Key West’s Mallory Square Dock before dusk as watching sundown from there is surely an unforgettable experience.
It is always good to keep a detailed route map in the vehicle as the old ways are still reliable and very handy especially in some unexpected and unpleasant situations. In addition to that, don’t forget to keep hiking shoes, sun glasses, digital camera, cooler, GPS Navigation System and most importantly credit cards along with some cash.
