Golf season is back and in full swing for the 2013 season. Many questions will face the top golfers this season. Will Rory McIlroy continue his dominance? Will Tiger Woods rebound? Will Bubba Watson repeat his previous success? These questions are very important and will be answered this golf season during the 2013 PGA Major Golf Tournaments. The Major Golf Tournaments include 4 golf tournaments which are The Masters, the US Open, the British Open Championship and the US PGA Championship. These 4 tournaments are considered golf’s top rated events in 2013.

The tournament will be a 70 par course in 2013 and has a 6,846 yard length. The tournament will start June 13th. Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus Willie Anderson, and Bobby Jones hold the record for the most U.S. Open wins with 4. Last season Webb Simpson won the event, but he will be challenged by 2011 winner Rory McIlroy and fellow Irishman Graeme McDowell, who won the tournament in 2010.

British Open Championship 2013, Muirfield, Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland – 18 to 21 July 2013
The Open Championship, also known as the British Open, is being played in Scotland this year. The course will be 71 pars and have a length of 7,245 yards. The tournament has been around since 1860. Ernie Els won his second Open Championship last year and will try to repeat his performance this year. Tiger Woods, who has won 3 Open Championships, will look to challenge Els. Padraig Harrington, who won back to back Open Championships in 07-08, will also look to take home a first place finish.

US PGA Championship 2013, Oak Hill Country Club (East Course), Rochester, New York – 8 to 11 August 2013
The PGA Championship will begin play on August 8th and will be played at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. The PGA Championship has been played since 1918.
