Yes the economy may be wobbly at the moment but there are actually some great opportunities to seriously improve your life. Without getting too deep, take stock for a moment and think about all the things you DO have and what is good in your life and then think about how recession can improve your life:
Get Healthier – In times of recession people are actually physically healthier as they drink less alcohol and cut back on smoking. People are also eating out less and cooking more meals at home from scratch.
Get Fitter – People are using their cars less and now are walking and cycling more. And if your gym membership has expired or is too expensive then get out in the open air and go for a run or a power walk.
Get Better Relationships – People focus more on relationships during times of recession and dating websites are seeing an increase in traffic. There is more focus on emotional rather than financial security and now is a great time to mend any broken relationships and spend more time with your family.
Get More Bedroom Action – All those dinners out at expensive restaurants have been swapped for cosy evenings at home. Couples are now choosing to stay in and it’s reported that sex has become a more popular pastime – well it certainly beats playing scrabble!
Get A Better Social Life– More and more people are entertaining at home with dinner parties, music and movies. Shopping for the latest designer must-have has been ditched in favour of more fulfilling hobbies.
Get More Green – People are becoming more green by holding swapping parties, growing their own vegetables and picking up bargains at charity shops.
Get A Better Holiday – After all that socializing and bedroom action you’ll need to take a holiday! People need to recharge and shift focus for a while and there are currently some amazing travel bargains to be had to destinations across the world. Be savvy, do your research, plan carefully, check out special offers and you will enjoy a fantastic holiday!
