Luggage packing solutions for your Europe vacation

Packing tips for your holiday in Europe

Trips are quite a getaway. Packing to stay in a place you haven’t been before is an uphill task. Should I carry winter or summer clothes? Womens raincoat or a spaghetti top? Which shoes are best and don’t occupy a chunk of space? Will I be able to use my adapter there, or will I have to buy a new one to charge my phone? Should I fold or roll clothes to save on space?

We are always wondering how we can fit our whole wardrobe into one suitcase. Below are some tips you can look into to pack your items and save on space for a perfect vacation.

Consider vacuum-wrapping or rolling your clothes

Rolling clothes prevents creases on clothes. You wouldn’t want people staring at your creased clothes while you are supposed to have fun. You also end up saving space you can use to add clothes you want to carry.

Carry snacks for your journey

Particularly, if you have children coming to vacation with you, carry some light food to sustain them for the journey or even the vacation.

Switch to digital

If you love reading, carrying books for the stay will deny you a lot of space for your personal effects. Download books, maps, guides, or book games and get to access them from your phone or tablet.

Carry the correct adaptor

Countries may have different plugs like Ireland and the UK. If you want to visit Ireland, you should make sure you carry an adapter compatible with the plugs used there. Alternatively, you can get yourself a surge protector that has provisions for different plugs. This surge protector is better to have because you can charge your electronics. The camera, phone and laptop, at the same time, depending on the plug provisions provided.

Necessary shoes to carry

We are always puzzled about putting all our shoes in the bag or wearing just to go with more shoes for different uses. Surprisingly, you can easily carry just three pairs and be comfortable the whole holiday period. For men, you just need a pair of hiking shoes, flip-flops, and a classy shoe for the nights out for dinner. Women are quite versatile; a pair of sandals, some low shoes, and an excellent shoe for the evening could just do. Women can add one more shoe because their feet are often small and their shoes are less bulky.

Pack up some versatile clothes

Mix match your clothes to always look on point while still suited for the weather. A suggestion can be shirts that don’t wrinkle, few pairs of skirts( trousers for men), three pairs of shorts, and make sure you have diverse colours to effectively match and look different each day. For wet seasons, men and womens raincoat can be quite essential to carry along.

Use light and colourful suitcase

To get through the airport with more clothes, you have to purchase a lightweight suitcase to tone the kilos down. Many people prefer grey and black bags; therefore, trying to locate yours can be very difficult. You can spot it from afar and pick it up if you own a colourful one.
