It was taught to Siamese troops as a way to fight if they ever lost their weapon in combat. Two major stadiums in Bangkok, Rajadamnern Stadium and Lumphini Stadium, host Muay Thai matches.
Bangkok also holds large parks and green spaces which is impressive because Bangkok is one of the largest cities in the world. Lumphini Park, for example, is a 142 acre park that was given by King Rama VI to the people. It holds an artificial lake where people can rent boats.
