Top 5 Best Places to Live in 2019: For Millennials to Baby Boomers

  • January 22, 2019
  • admin

There’s no single perfect place in the world. Everyone has different needs. Everyone wants to get something different out of their chosen location.

This is why we have decided to compile a list of the five best places to live in 2019 for different generations.

Algarve Portugal

The Algarve in Portugal is a popular vacation destination on the edge of Europe. It’s safe, welcoming, and the weather is great all year.

Anyone who wants to retire should consider the Algarve. Retirement income isn’t taxed here, and the same goes for a range of other types of income. Residents are also entitled to free healthcare and establishing it doesn’t have to cost a lot.

With so many English speakers in the Algarve, retirees won’t find it too much of a culture shock.

Cuenca, Ecuador

Cuenca is an old colonial city, and common tourist hotspot, in the South American country of Ecuador. Here you can expect to enjoy reliable services, including modern Internet.

This is primarily a walking city, so there’s no need to buy a car here. You’ll also find that there’s a mild climate, so it’s pleasant to be outside the whole year.

Cuenca has a huge expat community, so you’ll never be alone.

And you can enjoy a luxury lifestyle on around $1,000 per month. Even someone on a low level consultant salary could do extremely well here.

Valletta, Malta

Malta is a tiny island nation in the Mediterranean Sea. Here in Valletta you can enjoy an extremely high standard of living in the middle of the European Union (EU). You’re never far from the sea and you can enjoy hot temperatures for most of the year.

We recommend Valletta for anyone looking to do business. Malta has a large business community and easy transport links to the rest of Europe.

You should also look into the Global Residence Program as it offers one of the best opportunities for residency in the Schengen Area.

San Ignacio, Belize

San Ignacio is in Cayo, which is the inland rainforest region of Belize. Deciding to live here will give you the space you need and stunning vistas you would need to pay millions for in America.

Cayo is currently the fastest growing regions in the country and has the capital within its borders. It’s great for anyone for businesspeople to retirees. Belize has its own residency program, which can eventually lead to citizenship.

There’s a reason why more expats than ever are choosing San Ignacio as their home.

Plus, everyone here speaks English!

George Town, Malaysia

Malaysia boasts of the best retirement programs in the world. You only need to be above 50 to qualify for their retiree residency program. And the income requirements are lower than in most countries.

This multicultural part of Malaysia enjoys cheap food, beautiful backdrops, and an increasingly large expat community.

Malaysia also happens to be an extremely tax-friendly part of the world. For example, you only have to pay taxes on income that came from Malaysia itself. They don’t care about income earned in other countries.

Last Word – Where Will You Live?

These are our top five favorite countries to live in. Where will you move to in 2019?
