Libya is a country trying very hard to become a popular tourist destination. With plenty of excellent classical ruins, adventures into the Sahara and a hot climate, it has much going for it.

Trekking in the Atlas Mountains offers a great holiday, dramatic landscapes, with snow during the winter and spring while visiting isolated berber villages. There is also the sub Sahara and Sahara with nomads and camel safaris, plus the vibrant cities of Marrakech and Fez.

Even though Tunisia is North Africa’s smallest country, its rich history and diverse peoples pack a marvellous mix of cultures, cuisine and architecture within its modest borders.

Few people know that the country "Western Sahara" exists. It is a vast stretch of desert, ownership of which is disputed by Morocco and Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. With miles of nothing except the ocean peeping through at times, it is a true wilderness.

Egypt is home so some of the greatest historical monuments in the world. The Pyramids, Valley of the Dead and Temple at Luxor are all breath-taking.
