New Zealand is a wonderful country to explore and there’s no better way to explore it than in a campervan. Imagine living for a few days or weeks in a mobile house packed with everything you need, road-tripping from spot to spot, checking out stunning landscapes, and taking your time. Fortunately, New Zealand has a ton of campsites for you to park at, and today, I’m going to list a few of the best.

How do I find a New Zealand campervan rental? Don’t worry, the land of the long white cloud has many options, most of the rentals have a wide range of campervans with different amenities, so, get a Campervan hire in New Zealand and choose one that is suitable for your needs.

Campervans are a versatile and comfy way of traveling for those that love road-tripping, it has two main necessities covered: accommodation and transportation. You can choose where to go, and where to spend the night. Also, it’s usually cheaper than a resort-like vacation.

The land of the long white cloud is famous for having endless natural attractions, breathtaking landscapes, and a lot of adventure to offer. Many of the best campsites are strategically situated close to some of the best attractions in this country.

From lush forests, and beaches to greenery scenery and bustling cities, here are the best spots and campsites to check in on a new zealand road trip.

South Island

The south island is characterized as being a place to check out glaciers, rocky mountains, fiords, and relaxing lakes.

Queenstown and the Glenorchy Rd

Your first trip should be to Queenstown. You can start the trip at Arrowtown, which is well worth visiting. From there you can take the mountain road to Queenstown through stunning mountain scenery.

Take your time at Queenstown, and check out the places it has to offer, like Kiwi Park, and Coronet Peak, or if you want a more city-like experience stroll around the town and check out its buildings, the shops, galleries and restaurants. It is vibrant and busy town and the centre of the outdoor activities in the region.

Hit the road again and set off on the Glenorchy Road as this route will take you on one of the most stunning trips in the country, along 30 kms of beautiful lake scenery.

North Island

The north island is famous for being home to more than 50 volcanoes, giving you a whole different landscape, also, it’s well known for its hills, forest, and long-strip beaches.

Auckland

Your main spot to focus should be Auckland, it’s one of the most picturesque cities in the world. It’s situated on a field packed with volcanoes and peak standpoints.

Stroll around the cities and check out some amazing things to do and places to visit, like the Sky Tower, the Auckland Zoo, or the Art Gallery. There are endless options to explore in this bustling city.

Now set yourself to explore some of the mountains or volcanic peaks that are around the area. Most of the peaks can only be visited by foot, so, you’ll be able to hike, but there are a few that you reach by campervan.
