It can be hard to fit everything into your vacation in Tel Aviv. Click here to find out what are the best spots to visit.

Even if you’re a seasoned traveller, having the ability to know exactly where to go and how to fit everything into a vacation can be difficult. No matter if you are in a city or out in the countryside, there’s always a number of options at your fingertips and a limited amount of time to experience them all.

This is certainly the case if you have planned a vacation in Tel Aviv. Awash with history and beauty, this is a city which maintains its vibrancy all day and right through the night, making it both a dream and a nightmare for a traveller looking to see as much as they can.

Don’t panic, though. What you need is a run through of the very best Tel Aviv has to offer. While this run through won’t cover everything, it does cover the experiences you simply cannot miss:

Park HaYorkon

Starting with Tel Aviv’s natural beauty, Park HaYorkon is essentially Tel Aviv’s answer to New York’s Central Park. With luscious green grass stretching nearly four kilometres, this is a beautiful spot to sit with a small picnic and simply stare at the city from afar. The lake is especially tranquil in the summer, with a number of friendly hikers and dog walkers choosing it as a resting spot to take a breath and admire the scenery.

Sarona Market

Located in the southern edge of the Templar Colony restoration project, this is a bustling city market which is full of life and interesting artefacts. If you’re trying to save on your coins or you don’t want to journey back with any ornaments, then this isn’t an issue. Although there is a lot on offer, this is really a great place to simply wander around and breathe in the atmosphere.

You can even take some inspiration from what you see and jump over to the nadav art web when you return from your travels. That way, similar Israeli artefacts can be delivered straight to your door and you can save the precarious journey.

The Museum Of Art

Even if you’re not that into museums, Tel Aviv’s Museum of Art offers something unmissable. The collection is dense with the very best Israeli art, photographs and artefacts. What’s more, there is also a quaint and peaceful sculpture garden to get lost in and get away from the buzz of the city for just a little while.

Old City Of Jaffa

Now for a bit of history, you can’t get much better than the Old City of Jaffa. This is one of the oldest places in the Mediterranean (you may have guessed that from the name). Complete with historic church towers, gorgeously designed mosques and some trendy bars and restaurants, you simply cannot come to Tel Aviv and miss this spot.

What’s more, because it is stationed on a cliff,  the views are outstanding. Top tip: when you’re taking the scenery in, try to put down your phone for a moment. No photographs need to be taken here. Just take it all in –  you and the city of Tel Aviv below – the image will undoubtedly imprint upon your memory forever.

Hilton Beach

We’ve had gardens, culture, history, markets, and now you can top it all off with a chilled out, relaxing day at the beach. Tel Aviv is renowned for its beaches, and just a quick visit to Hilton Beach will show you why. Complete with gorgeous ocean views and constant activity, this is a perfect place to spend your last day in the city. Whether it’s to sunbathe or swim, Hilton Beach is there to see out your vacation and leave you stepping out of Tel Aviv with a big smile on your face.
