Bangalore is known for its pleasant weather and a wide number of job opportunities. But you can also get on a Delhi to Bangalore flight to explore some beautiful corners of the city in Karnataka.   1. Ulsoor Lake

The serene lake, located in the heart of the city, spreads over an area of 125 acres. Constructed during the times of Kempegowda II, tourists don’t need any entry fee to go inside. You can take a walk along the track or go boating to soak in the beautiful scenery around the lake. 

  1. Nandi Hills

Located around 60 km from the city, the hills are a true wonder for every nature-lover. If you are visiting with the love of your life, you must include this magnificent viewpoint in your trip itinerary. The hill is located 1478 metres above sea level and will greet you with a pleasant climate. The rivers Arkavathi and Palar originate from the hill. It is named after the Nandi temple that’s situated at the top.

  1. Vidhana Soudha

The popular landmark in Garden City is an example of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian architectural styles. The foundation stone for the legislative building was laid by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1951, and it was completed in 1956. Since it is situated close to Cubbon Park, Bangalore tourists can view two spots at a time.

  1. Devanahalli Fort

The archaeological site was built by Mallabairegowa, a scion of the popular Morasu Wokkalu family. During its initial days, the fort fell under the clutches of several rulers. But it explains why the fortification has heavy masonry and huge bastions. You will find several homestays in Bangalore close to this fort. 

  1. Sankey Tank

The huge man-made tank was built in 1882 as a solution to water scarcity. A well-lit walking track is present along the periphery of the tank. You will also find benches for visitors to rest and capture the surrounding beauty. 

  1. Innovative Film City

It is a theme park for anyone who wishes to see the magic of the cinema world. Spread over 58 acres, the park is situated in Biladi, which is an hour’s ride from the main city. You will get to see famous sets and behind-the-scenes tours of different films. You will also find several places to eat and shop inside the Innovative Film City.

  1. St Mary’s Basilica

The oldest church in Bangalore was built in 1882. It gives you insight into the finest architectural styles of mediaeval times. The massive glass windows, towering facade, and calmness will help you relax and connect with the divine power.
