Summer is almost upon us, and with it comes planning yearly vacations. Whether you work for a construction company or in the medical industry, like at Northwest Surgery Center, you’ve been putting in a lot of effort over the past year and deserve to go someplace fun and exciting. And what better place to spend a week than Universal Studios? It hosts several dozens of thrilling rides, shows, games, and other attractions that make it an easy choice for your next vacation. If this is your first time going to Universal, there are a few things you won’t want to miss out on.
Dining at a Themed Restaurant
Don’t think you’ll save time and money by skipping lunch at the park. The dining options at Universal are half the fun! Most restaurants are themed after a popular film or television show, each of which is packed with details and fun menu items. For instance, the Leaky Cauldron or The Three Broomsticks in The Wizarding World will leave many Potter-heads ecstatic, and ordering a Krusty Burger with a Flaming Moe to wash it down at The Simpsons’ Fast Food Blvd is a must. There are also options in Seuss Landing, Toon World, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and more!
Visiting Olivander’s
Any Harry Potter fan would go home defeated if they didn’t visit Olivander’s Wand Emporium. This experience will mimic Harry’s own experience in the first film, in which he visits the shop in search of a wand. Now you can too! You’ll test a variety of wands until you come across the best one for you because as every wizard knows, the wand chooses the wizard. Plus, if you get an interactive wand, you’ll be able to use it in certain areas of the park to manipulate the environment.
Catching a Show
There’s plenty to do at Universal besides rides. The park hosts a variety of entertaining shows that provide a welcome break from all the walking, standing, and screaming for your life as you zip through the air on coasters. Some of the park’s most popular shows include Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration, Poseidon’s Fury, The Bourne Spectacular Stunt Show, Universal’s Horror Make-Up Show, Night-Time Lights at Hogwarts Castle, Raptor Encounter, and several more.
Riding in the Front
Waiting in line can take long enough as it is, let alone waiting the extra time for a front-row seat. But you don’t get to go to a place like Universal Studios every day. You need to experience riding in the front seat at least one time, regardless of which attraction you choose to do it on. While you probably won’t want to do this for every single ride, putting in the extra effort and patience for a coaster or two is really worth the wait.
Getting a Flash-Finish Photo
Everybody likes checking out their photos on certain rides after they exit but rarely do people actually purchase these photos. And due to how expensive they are, we don’t blame them! However, some of the attraction photos you’ll capture will be truly spectacular as they capture your best moments of the park mid-action. Even with the expensive price tag, we recommend purchasing at least one of these photos.
Experience it All
If you’re going to Universal Studios for the first time, be sure not to miss out on these fantastic attractions throughout the park. There’s so much to do and see, that you may not be able to experience it all, but as long as you give it a good effort, you’ll be able to go home with plenty of happy memories—until your next visit, that is.
