Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh is a gorgeous city that bustles of business, opportunities and elegance. One of Middle east’s wealthiest city and a major    financial hub, Riyadh is sure to make you fall in love with all that it has to offer its curious tourists. The city not only welcomes tourists from all over the world but also from other domestic cities within the kingdom for both short and long stays. The intercity commute has become easier than ever, especially with the options to book flights online that are convenient and affordable. Still not swayed? Here are a few more reasons why you must visit Riyadh.

  1. Go shopping

Host to large shopping malls around the city, a variety of luxury products to high street stores are in abundance here. Any sleek shopping destination in Riyadh serves as a prime location of dinning or socializing. Among the severs options our most recommended would be the Riyadh Gallery.

  1. Museums galore

Riyadh’s National Museum is known for being the biggest and the most visited museum and attractions in the city. Combined with a park and a mosque, this historic place is located at the King Abdul Aziz Historical Centre. Scroll through the scriptures, antiquities and visuals that showcase the history of KSA, the importance of Islam and a glimpse of pre-historic human civilizations. There are several other museums here that demand a visit for its display, history and preservation.

  1. Explore the replicas of world-famous monuments

There’s nothing like visiting all the world-famed monuments in one place isn’t it? Visit the replicas of the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Leaning Tower of Pisa etc. at the World Sights Park. The monument covers some of Saudi Arabia’s highlights too, but for those who are keen on exploring the country for real, we recommend on making Flynas bookings for cheap domestic as well as international flights.

  1.  Say hello to the inhabitants of the royal zoo

Built in the 80s primarily to home wild animals owned by the Royals of the country, Riyadh’s royal zoo is now a must-visit zoological park with over 1,500 animals from 40 different species. Here you can also get a peek at the local endangered birds.

  1. Go trekking or hiking at the Edge of the World

Along the Tuwaiq Escarpment from the city is the famous Jebel Fihrayn a serene desert trek for adventurers, located at the Acacia Valley. A moment on the cliff will take your breath away. The endless views of the valley, the underwater history behind it and the infinite horizon will leave your wanting for more. Hikers are gifted with a variety of scenic trails to follow and the peak also serves as trekker’s paradise especially popular among the tourists and expats.

Tip: Visit the location during winter days to make the most of your visit. Also, mobile networks do not work in the desert, so come prepared.

There are several other must-dos in this city such as visiting the historical Diriyah, taking a food trip to relish multi-cuisines and exploring the Al Masmak Fort. Itinerate your holiday with enough time to explore each one of these and more to experience the true essence of Riyadh.
