Top 5 Ways to do a Canada Sightseeing Tour

  • January 22, 2019
  • admin

Looking for a getaway, eh? Look no further than the Great White North!

With close to 3.9 million square miles of land, it can be difficult to choose how to cover that much ground and what to see while you’re there.

If you want to do some Canada sightseeing, we have the tips for you! With our Canadian Travel Guide, you’ll find the best attractions from Vancouver to Newfoundland. Here are 5 ways to do a sightseeing tour.

Explore the Shores of British Columbia

As you look for things to see in Canada, start in British Columbia. Pacific ocean views with whale watching, hiking through the Canadian Rockies, and exploring the city of Vancouver.

Fly into Vancouver and start in the city. Get around by bicycle, take a bus tour, or go above and beyond and take a seaplane tour!

When you are ready, rent a car and head northeast to Calgary. It will be a 10-hour drive through beautiful mountain ranges and if you do enough research you can take breaks to hike down a few of the many trails in the area.

There’s Something About Alberta

Welcome to Alberta. The two cities you have to visit while you’re there are Calgary and Edmonton.

For cool things to do in Canada, Calgary is the city for you. Ditch the rental car and treat yourself with this useful resource. Ride around and head over to Studio Bell— Canada’s National Music Centre!

From Calgary, take the train to visit Alberta’s capital, Edmonton! While on the train you will see more plains than mountain ranges. When you reach Edmonton you’ll be back in the big city and ready for anything.

Marvel in Manitoba

For a change of scenery travel to Manitoba and head to Lake Winnipeg. As one of the world’s largest freshwater lakes, this Canadian tourist attraction will take your breath away.

Known for white sandy beaches, you will be able to take part in life around the lake. Rent a cabin or cottage and take a relaxing break from your sightseeing trip.

Visiter Le Québec

Take another long drive through the countryside through Ontario (and if it really takes your fancy why don’t you browse some more listings), stop by Toronto and continue on to Montreal in Quebec.

For Canadian attractions, Montreal and Quebec are choice areas to explore the diverse culture of Canada. You may need to brush up on your Quebecois!

Tour the French Colonial architecture and take a stroll through the botanical garden. We recommend you stop by the La Verendrye Wildlife Reserve and do some wildlife watching!

Maritime Fun in Newfoundland

For a complete trip through Canada, fly into St. John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador. Humpback whales, puffins, maritime town traditions– what more could you ask for!

End your sightseeing trip with an adventure! Stroll through the city and take trips on canoes and boats!

Take in the sights of the Atlantic coast from the coziness of bed and breakfast or local hotels. You won’t want to miss this coastline.

Canada Sightseeing Done Right

From coast to coast, there is a lot to say about Canada sightseeing. No matter where you decide to go, you will not be disappointed in the vast array of geography.

Take these suggestions to fulfill your dream of exploring Canada! If you need some help, take a look through our holiday destination specials!
