Best American Cities For Travelers In 2018

  • June 5, 2018
  • admin

Summer is almost here, and travelers around the world are getting the ‘itch.’  Finding the best places to visit to experience culture, excellent cuisine, and adventure is on the list of things to do, and making a decision could be challenging.

Depending on the enlightenment you seek, your journey should be catered to provide a unique experience.  If you’re looking to explore the U.S., then you’re in luck. You’ve stumbled upon an exceptional collection of sneak peak overviews, highlighting the most welcoming and interesting cities to visit this year.

Houston, Texas

Houston is in a perfect location for the big city experience and the gulf coast beaches.  Explore your curiosity, and visit NASA’s Space Center where astronauts train. You’ll love Houston’s diversity, and all of the unique outlying locations.

The Downtown area of Houston features a Theater District that is home to the city’s renowned Grand Opera and architecture straight out of the 19th century.  Katy, Texas is a cozy spot just outside of the city of Houston.  If you’re not careful, you’ll end up moving to the area.

Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida is home to the timeless promise of joy offered daily by Disney World.  There’s not really a need for any other persuasion, but Orlando also offers an impressive array of shopping areas, tasty restaurants, and excellent accommodations.

When the family is finished exploring Harry Potter World, kick back by the water at your room in the Margaritaville Resort.  Best for family adventures, Orlando will keep you smiling for the duration of your stay.

New Orleans, Louisiana

The New York Times named New Orleans the number one place to visit this year.  This year is the marker for the Tricentennial celebration of the city of New Orleans, and there are no small plans for the party.

This year’s Jazz Fest is planning an extravagant fireworks display to commemorate the city’s 300th birthday.  The Duke of Orleans is opening as a special exhibit in the city’s famed Museum of Art, and other events will be unveiling all throughout the year.  Check out the city’s calendar to get a feel for all the different celebratory events being held this year.

Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore is lavish with culture.  The city is not only a beautiful sight to see, but Baltimore has great dining options like Tagliata and The Elk Room.  You can also book a scenic helicopter tour of the city or a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sagamore Spirit Distillery.

San Francisco, California

San Francisco is the world’s hub for diversity.  If freedom of expression is your idea of joy, then San Fran won’t let you down.  The nightlife is unlike any other, and views of the bay will leave you feeling like it’s all just a lovely dream.
