Travel Tips for Women on Business Travel

  • March 10, 2017

As a hard working business woman you will be short of time on your business trips and we have some good tips for you to make life just a little bit easier when you are overseas. You should be concentrating on work and travel and you don’t need the added stress of forgetting some essential kit. When you’re out traveling, be it for vacation or for work, there are always certain items that you’re going to want to make sure that you keep with you, especially in the categories of style and hygiene, as these are often the most familiar and defining elements of your presentation of self. Add to the fact that many times these items are compact, then your concern at that point is just going to be that you remember to pack them!

Five items in particular that you should never travel without include your hair accessories, deodorant, perfume or cologne, toothpaste, and your jewelry. Missing any of these can result in unnecessary expenditure or even anxiety about not feeling up to your best in important meetings.

Hair Accessories

Regardless of age, gender, or industry, having good looking hair is nearly always a sign of success or a reflection of comfort in people. So, when traveling, make sure to pack your hair brushes or your favorite comb, so that you know at the very least you’ll have control over that aspect of your appearance. You may not be able to fit extra items like curlers, but a good brush is always a must.

Deodorant

Choosing a deodorant is a very personal experience for most people, and you don’t want to get caught out traveling and not have your favorite. One to thing to pay attention to, though, is that depending on your style and brand, you may not be able to carry more than a certain amount of it on airplanes, so be sure to figure out how to get a travel sized kit before taking off to the airport.

Perfume and Cologne

Another comfort agent during your travels is going to be how you smell via your perfume or cologne. This can be a confidence thing, or it can just be a way for your to psychologically indicate to yourself that you’re ready to head out and party! Regardless, make sure you have the right amount packed for your travels; usually, a tiny applicator container will be just fine so you don’t have to carry around whole bottles.

Toothpaste

Another thing you don’t want to be caught without if you’re out journeying is your toothpaste of choice. Waking up in the morning and having to use something unfamiliar, or a hotel version of toothpaste, can quickly put a damper on your mood or worse still if you don’t have any at all you will waste your precious time trying to purchase some!

Jewelry

Don’t be afraid to take your favorite jewelry on vacation. This is a great confidence boost before going out to places or meetings, and it will also look great in your travel pictures. You can opt to bring a stylish watch, which also comes with a practical use. Find the watch to suit your vacation look and activities by checking out https://www.thewatchcompany.com/.   Just be sure that if it’s expensive, you keep it secure, and you’ll appreciate having it with you during all of your trips.
