America is a huge destination, and there’s so much to look out for when heading to any of the states in the USA. With must-see destinations that every native looks forward to, to more out there, quirky travel destinations depending on what you’re interested in, there’s plenty to see and do while you’re out there. In America, you must have a visa or qualify for the visa waiver program to enter the country. What is the US visa waiver program you ask? Under the US visa waiver program, citizens or nationals of member countries who met specific requirements can travel to the USA without a visa, and stay up to 90 days. Whether you qualify for the visa waiver program, or you’re in need of a visa, when you head to America there’s plenty of top travel destinations that you should head to.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National park is a breath-taking array of geysers, pools, hot springs, and hiking trails that stretch out for miles. There’s plenty for nature-lovers to do, and the views themselves are worth going for. There’s also a great Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Centre for animal lovers to learn all about the wildlife in the area. The park attracts around 3 million visitors every year, but with the sheer number of trails and wildlife-watching opportunities, you’re unlikely to see many of them. Yellowstone is a nature lovers playground, and is a must see American travel destination.

The Grand Canyon

This spectacular canyon is a depiction of the beauty can create. Carved out by the Colorado River, there’s plenty to see from the heights of the Grand Canyon. Whether you choose a helicopter ride over the Canyon, or want to take it to the extremes with white water rafting in the river, you’re certain to capture a huge number of memories with this top travel destination.

New Orleans

The Big Easy has such a relaxing atmosphere, it’s hard to imagine it ever having troubled times at all. This melting pot where European meets Caribbean offers a huge array of jazz music, gumbo and partying. The state offers a unique culture and a distinct personality that you are certain to be in awe of when it comes to heading to this fantastic destination. See the party in full swing and head to New Orleans in time for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

New York

New York is an incredible destination, for those looking for a cosmopolitan trip full of shopping, dining and theatre. New York is perfect for sightseeing too, with iconic sites such as the Empire State Building, Times Square and the Statue Of liberty to look forward to seeing. For the global hub of art, culture, fashion, finance and a good time, head to New York City.

Roswell

If you’re looking for a quirkier destination and you’re interested in aliens and extra-terrestrials, Roswell, New Mexico, is the perfect place to explore. Known for its mysterious history and fascination with the unknown, there are plenty of things to do in roswell new mexico. You can visit the International UFO Museum and Research Center, stroll through the quirky shops downtown, or explore the Roswell Museum and Art Center for a mix of art and science. There are also plenty of commemorative festivals, with one of the most tongue-in-cheek being the Roswell UFO Festival.
