Experience The Australian Wilderness: A guide To Choosing An Aussie Outback Tour

Tourism is big business in Australia. It provides a living for millions of residents who call Australia their home. The country is popular for its Great Barrier Reef as well as the interior desert wilderness known as the Outback. Many people come to Australia to visit the vast wilderness that is home for many duck-billed platypuses and kangaroos. Many tourists can’t wait to get to this great country and enjoy one of the many Aussie outback tours that are available. These buses are made to easily maneuver the rough roads of the Outback and can carry up to 25 people to wonderful, exciting destinations.

Tours to the Outback

There are Australian tour companies that specialize in outback tours. They have a fleet of versatile buses that take tourists into the deepest parts of the outback. Groovy Grape Tours go into the heart of Australia to a town that lives entirely underground, because it is too hot most of the time. Busses that are designed for outback adventures are specially fitted with a unique 4WD conversion system. The front and rear suspension of these buses are modified and heavy coil springs and shock absorbers are added to make the ground clearance greater. This is needed to safely traverse the difficult terrain of the outback. These vehicles are equipped with two different 4WD settings to make even the roughest travel seem easy. It can comfortably and safely carry 21 people to the destination of their choice. It can be equipped with standard or automatic transmission. It also has all of the modern conveniences of air conditioning in the rear of the vehicle, as well as cameras to assist in park assist and reverse. These features are a standard addition to converted vehicles.

Comfort is key

State of the art conversion vehicles are built with the passenger in mind. They have large, tinted windows for easy viewing in the hot sun as well as semi high-back seats. There is ample legroom to make your long ride comfortable and give you the ability to rest, so when you reach your destination, you will be full of energy to explore the great outdoors. The bus should also be equipped with a PA system, so you can hear the tour guide and listen to interesting facts during your adventure. Comfort is definitely a priority when touring vehicles are designed.

Australia has thousands of miles of desert wilderness and ocean beaches to visit. Many of the places could not be accessed without the help of a sturdy, rugged, conversion bus. These transformed vehicles will take you wherever you want to go.
