For two weeks we’ve been reading all the entries to our Travel writing competition and have finally managed to cut it down to the shortlist of 10. It wasn’t easy. There were some fantastic articles that didn’t make the shortlist as the standard was so high. Unlike some years there are no clear favourites with the judges, with no one article standing out. In fact the judges all had a different opinion as to which one they thought might win. The final cut was left to the Editor of Geographical magazine. It promises to be a close vote to see who makes the top three and the final judging by Jez Lazell, our professional Travel writer judge.
To vote, simply read the articles, found on our 2014 Shortlist page, and then send an e-mail to competition@puretravel.com with the title of your favourite article as the Subject line. Remember, it is only one vote per e-mail account, duplicate votes will be deleted. Public voting finishes at midnight on Thursday 4th December.
Good luck to all the authors on the shortlist and happy reading.
