Underwater panoramic images are brought to life thanks to new additions to Google Maps which have been unveiled today.
Now you can explore the ocean from your armchair without needing to scuba dive and without even getting wet! The stunning underwater photography showcases 6 of the oceans coral reefs where you can watch sea turtles, a myriad of fish and captivating manta rays in Australia, Philippines and Hawaii, USA.
So far the six locations include Lady Elliot Island, Heron Island and Wilson Island on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Molokini Crater in Maui, Hawaii and Hanauma Bay, Oahu, Hawaii and Apo Islands in Dauin in the Philippines. You can spin the images 360 degrees, watch scuba divers and watch the sun rise and set on the oceans.
This all makes for fascinating viewing and hopefully more underwater scenes will be added too. And if the superb photography has inspired you then why not consider a real life scuba adventure somewhere in the world?
