Travellers can now explore amazing Vietnam, right from the buzzing and hectic Ho Chi Minh City right up to the north near Sapa, popular with trekkers looking for a more rural experience.
There are 3 major rail lines in Vietnam, which is owned by Vietnam Railways;
– Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon – Main route which crosses the entire country from north to south
– Hanoi – Lao Cai (for Sapa) – Route to the north west for Sapa and traveling on to Kunming in Yunnan Province, China
– Hanoi – Dong Dang – Route to the north east traveling on to Nanning in Guangxi Province, China and on to Beijing
