What to do in Fuerteventura?

Holidays are the most awaited time in the life of any human. Be it a student, a professional, or an employee, everyone eagerly waits for holidays to relax and be easy. All of us remain busy in our lives throughout the year and vacation period is the only time that we get to go easy on ourselves. Therefore, one must look to make full use of it and have fun with family and friends. One amazing destination that all travel lovers must visit is Fuerteventura. It is located in the Atlantic region close to the Moroccan region. It forms a part of the Canary Islands and is the perfect place to visit, be it for the youth, adults, adventure lovers, couples, etc. The place has its own variety of activities to do and places to visit. The place is a unique amalgamation of peace and adventure, beauty and grandeur. 

If you plan to visit Fuerteventura, here are a few things that you must do and places that you must visit. 

  1. Visit El Cotillo

This place is famously regarded as the sunset point for the beautiful view that it offers at sunset. It is one of the most soothing and picturesque places that becomes even more special during sunset. 

  1. La Casa De Los Coroneles

This destination is located just on the outskirts of La Oliva, the place famous for windmills. Talking about this destination, it is one of the most historical places to visit and see in Fuerteventura. It redefines the history of the Canary Island. This historical sight was built in the late seventeenth century by Gines Bethencourt. The place is a must visit as it allows you to fully explore the inside of it as well.   1. Playa De Jarubio

For all the beach lovers out there, this is the place you must visit in Fuerteventura. Not only does this place have an amazing beach vibe, it is extremely beautiful and peaceful as well. With scenic blue waters and cool shacks, watersports and games all around, this place is extremely fun and energizing. You can view the entire west coast from this beach place. All in all, it is a proper fun package for a refreshing day out in Fuerteventura. 

  1. Betancuria

Fuerteventura on its own is home to several amazing places. One such place is the city of Betancuria. This iconic place was once the capital city of Fuerteventura. It was carved out in the 19th century by a French explorer, and ever since then, it has remained a must-visit place. The Sacred Heart Museum, the markets, the streak of white houses and several other places are things that define this town. 

  1. Museo Del Queso Majorero

For all the people who like to know more about food & its science, this place is a must visit. It is a historic cheese museum located in Fuerteventura. The museum is located close to Betancuria itself and offers an amazing view of the city. Also, it has a garden that depicts the cheese cultivating culture. Not only can one know more about the cheese making process, one can taste it too. The place offers several restaurants that offer the several types of cheese that are made at this place. 

Overall, Fuerteventura is home to a diversity of experiences for everyone. It is full of some amazing destinations and unique activities and is a place that one must visit in one’s lifetime.
