Ayia Napa is a popular resort town in eastern Cyprus. There are many beautiful beaches and some ancient historic sites close to the town. There are many rocky coves in Napa that attract swimmers and sunbathers. In the last couple of decades, however, Ayia Napa has emerged as a hot nightlife destination in the eastern Mediterranean. There are many sports bars, beach bars, and nightclubs that now attract many young clubbers and party-goers from across Europe, especially in the summer months.
You can start your evening with a sunset cocktail and then head to one of the nightclubs. There are 80 bars and 12 clubs to choose from. They are lined in the Ayia Napa Square, Nissi Avenue, and along the many beaches. Castle Club, Black N’ White, and Aqua are the most popular addresses in town. Carwash Disco, Club Sin, and the Blue Moon Bar are also very popular.

Some beach bars, however, like the Nissi Bay Bar host wild parties that go late into the night. So select wisely depending on what you are looking for.
The Sports Bars
Paddy’s Irish Bar and Tommy’s Pub are the best places to grab a pint and watch your favorite team in action. These sports bars broadcast everything from NBA playoffs to the live Premier League games. The atmosphere is very lively. You can also take a cab and visit Protarasm which is just 15 minutes away. Here, you will find many other sports bars, like the Carina Sportsbar and Rockerfellas. They are both very good.
The Fantasy Boat Party
A must-do between the months of April and October. This is a 4-hour cruise that takes you around the coastline of Cyprus. You can enjoy booze with sailing. Endless drinks are served from the bar. The DJ keeps playing party music throughout the trip. There are swimming stops during the cruise. Plenty of games are available onboard too. There is a sober lifeguard on the cruise who keeps everyone safe.
Nissi Beach
This is where the tired partygoers go to relax in the daytime after a night of partying. The beach has 500 meters of white powdery sand. The water is clean and blue. Very good for swimming. This is a very scenic beach and fully deserves the Blue Flag rating. You will find many people relaxing on sunbeds at Nissi. There are many water sports activities too. Beach parties are sometimes held here. There is also a small islet that can be crossed on foot during low tide.
