Take a trip to Seoul, South Korea to experience traditional Korean culture and its many delicious delicacies. Explore the National War Museum that commemorates the Korean War and the soldiers and history of it. Eat some delicious rice cakes called tteokbokki, chicken soup called samgyetang, and eat lots and lots of spicy kimchi. Go visit the downtown shopping district in Myeongdong where all the high end fashion stores are located. Journey to the top of the Seoul Tower, which can be seen from anywhere in the city. Watch The Ballerina Who Loves B-Boy located at the B-Boy Theatre in Hongdae. It is a live non-verbal musical play that showcases the art of b-boying (commonly known as break dancing), ballet, and other hip-hop dances.
The Philippines is also a good choice to take a last minute holiday. Try exotic foods such as balut and dinuguan which are dishes made from eggs and pig blood. With its tropical climate you can experience going to the beach and relax on the shores in Boracay. Visit traditional Filipino villages in the mountains of Baguio or go sail on boats to underwater caves in Palawan. Visit the Asia’s largest shopping mall, the Mall of Asia, which is located in Manila which is the capital of the Philippines. Go to the Bangus Festival in Dagupan city where the city sets up a very long grill down the main road where the town’s people cooks and celebrate its favorite fish, the Bangus.
