Are you ready to start scuba diving in the world’s greatest locations? Make sure you check out these five amazing scuba diving vacation locations.

Since 1966, approximately 25,000,000 scuba divers have earned their certifications. The popularity of scuba diving continues to grow with over 9,000,000 new divers every year!

Are you planning a scuba diving vacation soon? Add these five locations to your must-visit list. These diving spots offer some of the best scuba diving in the world.

Plan your trip with these five hot-spot diving locations today!

1. Cape Kri

About 71% of the earth’s surface is covered in water. Oceans alone hold about 96.5% of all the Earth’s water. That’s a lot of ocean to cover!

If you’re planning a scuba diving vacation, you’ll want to make the most of your trip by choosing the right locations. For coral reef, start your trip in Raja Ampat, Indonesia.

Raja Ampat is home to Cape Kri, which contains a massive coral garden. You’ll also find marine life like giant trevallies, barracuda, manta rays, and sharks! There are different species of fish darting around too, so keep your eyes open.

2. Shark and Yolanda Reef

Want to see a shipwreck? Visit Shark and Yolanda Reef, located in the Egyptian Red Sea. This location offers some of the best diving sites. The current make for excellent drift diving, too.

Shark and Yolanda Reef is technically three reefs in a single dive! That means you get to experience a stunning mix of sights. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for sharks and anemones!

3. The Yongala

Located in Queensland, Australia, this is another great location is you love a good shipwreck. However, it’s important to note that entry into the ship is forbidden. After all, the best scuba diving experience is a safe one!

The Yongala is protected under the Historica Shipwrecks Act, so remain respectful.

While you’re in the water, keep an eye out for turtles, tiger and bull sharks, and manta rays. You’ll also see elaborate coral formations and other aquatic creators.

Make sure to grab your scuba diving equipment, including your scuba wetsuits, before you go.

4. Manta Ray Night Dive

Visiting Kailua Kona, Hawaii during your adventures? Consider taking a night dive!

The Manta Ray night dive is a great experience if you want to get a close encounter with a few large manta rays.

During this night dive, lights that are set on the ocean floor will attract plankton. The plankton attracts manta rays, bringing them in close!

The Manta Ray night dive offers a stunning experience you won’t want to miss.

5. Blue Corner

Located in Palau, Micronesia, Blue Corner is ideal for more experienced divers. This location is popular for its wall dive and strong current, which makes for a more challenging experience.

You’ll see plenty of sharks and a variety of marine wildlife in Blue Corner.

Make sure to work your way up to this one. If you’re not experienced yet, consider scuba diving lessons or guided dives with an instructor.
