To keep those hoteliers sweet, on your next travel adventure why not consider these hotel etiquette tips;
Housekeeping – Consider if your towels and sheets really need changing – Keep room service staff (and the environment) happy by sticking with the same towels and linen. Just for how long is at your discretion!
Tips – Think about how hard the staff have worked cleaning up after you during your stay and leave them a tip. I also leave my western magazines, books and toiletries I have finished with which is appreciated in non-western countries.
Courtesy – Be a polite and courteous guest, both to other guests and also to staff at the hotel. Don’t make unreasonable demands and don’t raise your voice or lose your temper.
Clean – If you don’t use the floor as a waste bin at home, then don’t do it in a hotel either. If you do then shame on you!
Complain – Have reasonable expectations and only complain if necessary. Some of the complaints on review websites can seem pretty lame.
